Township residents can haul garbage and construction items to the Marquette County Landfill by stopping at the Township office to complete a Hauler’s Agreement. A $15.00 monthly user fee will be charged, along with a $50.00 deposit. Direct hauling can be a considerable savings to Township residents. Call the Township office for more information.
Cash or check only; no credit cards or debit cards are accepted for landfill permits. Two separate payments for user fee and deposit.
Compost and recyclables can be hauled to the Marquette County Landfill free of charge with no permit required.
If you want to rent your property (or a portion of it), you can with a completed Rental Property Registration on file with the Township. This free registration tells the Township you are renting your property, and the Township will use the registration of your property as a way for the police, fire, emergency, and other government personnel to reach you in the event of an emergency.
The registration is renewed every year beginning in March and the renewal is used to update Township records regarding rentals.
You can change the registration at any time if you decide you no longer wish to rent your property.
