Spring Brush Drop Off

Chocolay Township Department of Public Works will be opening the Spring brush drop off on Friday, April 19, 2024. This service is for Chocolay Township residents only. Chocolay Township residents can drop their brush off at the Township office complex from Friday, April 19th through May 5th. Signs will be in place to direct residents to the brush drop-off site in the back of the complex.

The drop off will be closed periodically while staff can safely chip to make room for more. Brush will not be accepted at this time.

Rules for brush are as follows:

  1. No larger than 3 inches in diameter and no longer than 8 feet.
  2. Brush will be accepted during the designated days only.
  3. A total volume limit of no more than one level pickup box.
  4. Stack brush as high as possible.

This is for brush only; NO stumps, leaves, pine needles, grass clippings, or any other material can be mixed. Failure to follow rules may result in fines for littering or the closure of the brush drop off service.
