The Department: Chocolay Township is a close-knit community located just south of Marquette, MI. Chocolay Township Police is made up of 6 full-time officers that serve a population of 5,982 residents, dispersed within a 60 square mile jurisdiction. The Chocolay Township Police Department work from both a proactive policing and community-based policing approach. Officers are expected to be visible within and work closely with the community and its members.
This part-time position would be temporary and will not exceed 1040 hours in a year. The schedule for this position will be flexible and great for an officer looking to pick up shifts. Pay for this position would be competitive and dependent on experience.
