To All Qualified Voters in the Charter Township of Chocolay – Notice is hereby given by resolution of the Charter Township of Chocolay Board of Trustees under authority granted in Public Act 81 of 2023, that the location of the early voting site, for Precinct 1 & 2, for all federal and statewide elections dates will be the following. A site may also serve as an early voting site for additional election dates if approved by Charter Township of Chocolay Board of Trustees.
Precinct 1 is defined as:
“That part of Chocolay Township lying West of US 41 & that part lying North of M-28 lying West of Chocolay River Trail extended North of Lakewood Lane and that part of Chocolay Township lying North of Lakewood Lane and West of Superior Street extended North to Lake Superior.”
Precinct 2 is defined as:
“All that part of Chocolay Township except that part of Chocolay Township lying West of US 41 & that part lying North of M-28 lying West of Forest Road extended South to M-28, South of Riverside Road & that part of Chocolay Township lying North of Lakewood Lane & West of Superior Street extended North of Lakewood Lane. Or that part of Chocolay Township lying East of US 41, lying South of M-28 to Forest Road extended South to M-28 to the North right of way of Riverside Road thence West to Lakewood Lane then South along Lakewood Lane to Superior Street.”
