Chocolay Township Absentee Ballots—August 6, 2024 Primary Election

Absentee Ballots are available Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM in the Chocolay Township Office.

If you are on the Permanent Ballot list or have returned your Absentee Application, your ballots will be going in the mail on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. If you have not gotten your application back to the Clerk’s office, you can do so via postal mail, in person during business hours, or by using the 24 hour drop box located at the entrance of the Township Hall.

Chocolay Township will also offer Absentee Ballots and Voter Registration on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Township Office.

All Absentee Ballots need to be returned by 8:00 PM on August 6, 2024 to be counted.

Early Voting for Chocolay Township residents is Saturday, July 27 – Sunday, August 4 from 8 AM – 4 PM in the Township meeting room, 5010 US 41 South, Marquette, MI 49855.

With the passing of Proposal 22-2, voters can bring their absentee ballots to their Early Voting site or to their Precinct on Election Day and put them through the tabulator. If you have any questions regarding your ballot or voting, please direct your questions to the Chocolay Township Clerk’s office.
