2026 Seasonal Load and Speed Restrictions

The Marquette County Road Commission will impose and enforce seasonal load and speed restrictions on all roads and streets under its jurisdiction beginning at 8 AM on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Sewer Rate Increase Effective 2026

At the December 2025 meeting, the Chocolay Township Board voted to increase the Residential Equivalent User (REU) rate from $54.00/month to $74.50/month. This is in response to a Utility Rate Study commissioned by GEI Consultants which highlighted shortfalls within the sewer budget.
