Absentee Ballots Available—November 5, 2024 General Election

Absentee Ballots are available Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM in the Chocolay Township Office.

If you are on the Permanent Ballot list or have returned your Absentee Application, your ballots will be going in the mail on Monday, September 30, 2024. If you have not gotten your application back to the Clerk’s office, you can do so via postal mail, in person during business hours, or by using the 24 hour drop box located at the entrance of the Township Hall, 5010 US 41 S, Marquette, MI 49855.

Chocolay Township will also offer Absentee Ballots and Voter Registration on Saturday, October 2, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and Sunday, October 3, 2024 from  10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Township Office.

Absentee Ballots need to be returned by 8:00 PM on November 5, 2024 to be counted. Please make sure your absentee ballots are signed and dated before returning.

Early Voting for Chocolay Township residents is Saturday, October 26 – Sunday, November 3 from 8 AM – 4 PM in the Township meeting room, 5010 US 41 South, Marquette, MI 49855.

With the passing of Proposal 22-2, voters can bring their absentee ballots to their Early Voting site or to their Precinct on Election Day and put them through the tabulator. If you have any questions regarding your ballot or voting, please direct your questions to the Chocolay Township Clerk’s office.
